Madiha Hassan’s clinic Eggs is the maverick of the Canadian fertility world, as she draws into her space otherwise overlooked physicians looking for a safe space. When she starts pushing boundaries in her research and goes as far as modifying embryos to “help” her clients, in the midst of still trying to make a baby herself, we wonder how far she will go in playing God—will her actions endanger the livelihoods of the colleagues she wants to protect?
